Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove from the skillet and drain on paper towels

Slice each tomato horizontally, about 3/4 of the way down, into thin slices without cutting all the way through, creating a "fan" effect

Place the sliced tomatoes on the prepared baking sheet

Insert a slice of cheese into each slit of the tomatoes

Wrap each tomato with two pieces of bacon, tucking the ends into the slits of the tomatoes

Bake the tomatoes in the preheated oven for 15-20 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly, and the bacon is crispy

While the tomatoes are baking, toast the slices of bread until golden brown
