Chocolate Covered Almonds

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper or wax paper and set it aside.

In a dry skillet over medium heat, toast the almonds, stirring frequently, until they are golden and fragrant, about 5-7 minutes

Place the chopped dark chocolate in a heatproof bowl set over a pot of simmering water (double boiler method).

Once the chocolate is melted, remove the bowl from the heat and add the toasted almonds to the bowl

Using a fork or a slotted spoon, remove the chocolate-covered almonds from the bowl, allowing any excess chocolate

Place the chocolate-covered almonds on the prepared baking sheet, spacing them apart

Once the chocolate is set, remove the chocolate-covered almonds from the baking sheet
